If you’ve ever asked, “What is my purpose?”, “Why do I feel empty?”, or “Is there more to life than this?” you’re not alone. At DBDNJ, we believe those questions point to something deeper: a need for a restored relationship with God. No matter your background, doubts, or past, you are welcome here.
OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER
We often describe the Christian life in four simple steps:
BELONG. Before anything else, you are invited to belong. You don’t have to have everything figured out to come in. This is a place where you can explore, ask honest questions, and be surrounded by people who genuinely care. You are not an outsider here.
BELIEVE. God is not distant. He has revealed Himself through Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches that all of us have gone our own way, and that separation from God leads to emptiness and brokenness. But the good news is this: Jesus came to restore what was lost. His life, death, and resurrection. He made a way for us to be forgiven and brought back to God, not by our own effort but by His grace. Faith begins when we trust Him.
BECOME. Following Jesus is not about religion. It’s about transformation. God doesn’t leave us the way we are. As we turn from our old ways and follow Him, He begins to change our hearts, our desires, and our direction. This is a lifelong journey of becoming more like Christ.
BUILD. You were created for a purpose bigger than yourself. When your life is rooted in Christ, it begins to impact others, including your family, your relationships, and your community. God invites you to be part of what He is doing in the world.
A Personal Invitation
You don’t have to clean up your life before coming to God. You come as you are, and He meets you there. But He loves you too much to leave you there. So if you’re ready to take a step, whether that’s exploring faith, asking questions, or beginning a relationship with Jesus, we’re here to walk with you. Come experience a gathering, join a small group, ask real questions, or talk with someone about what it means to follow Him.
Joining us could be the beginning of a completely new life, starting with a simple step of faith.
Let us journey together toward the Land of Glory, pursuing a life that honors God and reflects His transforming grace, one step at a time. You can begin with this prayer:
“God, I know I’ve gone my own way. I believe Jesus came to save me. I turn from my sin and place my trust in You. Lead my life from this day forward.”
