Church Office Management
• Maintenance of Bulletin Board. To maintain orderly bulletin boards with current information
• Maintains files of all legal documents of the church
• Answers phone, relay messages
• Sorts and distributes church mail
• Keeps minutes of the meeting
• Monitors church activities. Keep an up-to-date calendar of events to avoid conflicts.
• Posts church activities monthly, including birthday and anniversary
• Administration of a lost and found center
• Establishes and maintains an Office Procedure Manual so that information as to the function of the church office is kept up-to-date and is easily accessible to others should it be needed
• Ensures that the church has proper insurance coverage, determine the value of the property and check for adequate coverage
Budget, Finance and Audit
Oversee the financial direction of the Church. Ensure that Church activities are properly financed and supplied for the success of each ministry.
Members Record Management
• Maintains permanent church membership records, keeping track of any changes; maintain records of births, baptism, dedications, weddings and membership transfers
• Manage current membership and attendees’ names, addresses, and phone numbers. Publish church directory
• Attendance Coordinator: Check and maintain attendance records
• Prepare and mail letters of welcome to first time visitors
Facility Management
• Responsible for preparing the center for Sunday Service and and staying after service to clean-up
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of the center
Pantry Ministry
• Schedule of food assignment for Sunday Lunch Fellowship
• Responsible for the maintenance, stocking and replenishment of shelves for the food pantry
