"If you make the Most High your dwelling"
I treasured my Bible reading last night with amazement within me. Our God Almighty has asserted He is the Sovereign Lord five times on both Chapters 25 and 26 of Ezekiel. One verse says, “I will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them in My wrath. Then they will know that I am the Lord. . .”

The Garden of Eden which God created perfect in beauty as the glorious and eternal dwelling place for Adam and Eve extensively, absolutely and convincingly affirms He is the Good Lord worthy of our unending loyalty and undivided obedience. But Adam and Eve disobeyed God so they were driven out of the Garden of Eden to suffer the consequence of yielding to Satan’s temptation. Though the result of their sin was horrendous but the Bible tells us that it’s God’s way in all ages to reawaken the lost and rescue them from the dominion of darkness so that upon realizing the truth they will declare that God is the eternal Sovereign Lord and apart from Him there is nothing good to enjoy forever.

Considering this coronavirus in our time that has put the whole world in fear, don’t you think it is God’s clarion call to all men so that all people from all nations including kings and presidents will now acknowledge He is the Sovereign Lord who alone can stop and deliver us from these invisible deadly viruses? Yes, we may avoid hugging and hand shaking but how about the droplets in all surfaces including monetary bills that we can’t avoid touching with our hands?

We are now at this point in time that all the believers must declare and decree what is written in Psalm 91 for our sure covering from the outbreak of coronavirus for God is alive and His power is above all powers. “. . . .If you make the Most High your dwelling – even the Lord, who is my refuge – then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. . . . Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. . . . ‘Because He loves Me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My Name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.’”

This is now the time to read and study the Word of God written by those whom God called in the Bible. God is now calling all the people to acknowledge “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11). More importantly, what really matters most is to be assured now not later when judgment comes that our final destiny is not hell because we are all sinners but heaven through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, the Redeemer of our souls.

It is the Most Precious Blood of Jesus which was shed on the cross that was foreshadowed by the blood of the lamb marked on the doorpost on every house of the Israelites so that upon seeing the blood the plague of death will bypass them when God strikes the land of Egypt because of their unbelief.

Psalm 77:11-15, “I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember Your miracles of long ago. 12 I will consider all Your works and meditate on all Your mighty deeds.” 13 Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God? 14 You are the God who performs miracles; You display Your power among the peoples. 15 With your mighty arm You redeemed Your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.”

Hebrews 13:5-6, “God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” 6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Of course, we should continue doing good health practices regularly such as frequent hand washing, covering the mouth when sneezing or coughing not only during this time of heightened coronavirus threat but all the time. Cleanliness is next to godliness.
